Expulsion possible at special meeting
STERLING – A Sterling High School student faces disciplinary action “up to or including expulsion,” during a special meeting Thursday of the school board, Superintendent Tad Everett said.
The board will have a hearing in closed session, then vote in open session. The meeting begins at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the high school library, 410 E. LeFevre Road.
The hearing is related to an incident that occurred earlier this month, Everett said. He declined to say what grade the student is in, or whether it is a boy or girl. He called that information “identifying” factors.
