DIXON – Birth to 3 screenings will be from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 26 at Open Sesame Child Care Center, 1101 Middle Road. Appointments are required.

These screenings are sponsored by Child and Family Connections in Freeport, and in Dixon, the Early Intervention Program and Autism Program at Kreider Services, Great Start Program at Lee-Ogle Regional Office of Education, Lee County Health Department and Open Sesame Child Care Center.

Screenings include evaluating motor skills, speech and language abilities, adaptive and self-help skills, as well as cognitive and personal social skills. The screenings are important to show if improvement is needed for a child in a certain area of development.
