Chevy dealers to help seniors

Chevy dealers in Iowa and Illinois will take Chevy’s national “Season of Giving” to a new level beginning Nov. 17, when they partner in the “Be A Santa To A Senior” program.

Trees are in selected dealer locations. Senior gift wish tags with specific holiday items are hung from the trees. The public is welcome to take a tag from the tree, buy a gift or two for the senior, then bring the unwrapped gifts back. Center for Active Seniors in Davenport, Iowa, and Home Instead staff will coordinate delivering the gifts to the seniors in time for the holidays. Last year, more than 2,000 seniors received gifts.

Select Chevy dealers include Kunes Country Auto Group in Mount Carroll and McEleney Auto Center in Clinton, Iowa.
