Training available to help volunteers

DIXON – CASA of the 15th Judicial Circuit will offer court appointed special advocate and guardian ad litem classes from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. starting Oct. 27 at 113 S. Peoria Ave.

The course is to teach volunteers who can serve in Lee, Ogle and Carroll counties to advocate for abused or neglected children. Sessions will be weekly through November.
