Newman raises funds for Lule family

The money raised by the 50/50 raffle during the Newman Comets’ game against the Hall Red Devils on Saturday at Roscoe Eades Stadium will be given to the family of Daniel Lule.

Lule, who would’ve been a junior at Hall this year, collapsed on the first day of fall sports practices Aug. 9 and later died.

Rock Falls Oct. 20

The Zombie Shuffle 5K race is Oct. 20 at Centennial Park in Rock Falls.

Advance registration is $12 for students and $15 for adults. Raceday registration is $20.
