Offices closed for Columbus Day

STERLING – Federal offices and banks will be closed Monday for Columbus Day.

Department of Motor Vehicles offices in Sterling, Chadwick, Dixon and Oregon are closed today for the holiday. The facilities will reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday.

The Dixon and Polo public libraries are closed Monday for the holiday.

Libraries open on Monday are Sterling, Rock Falls, Franklin Grove, Chadwick and Oregon; Henry C. Adams Library in Prophetstown; Mills and Petrie Library in Ashton; Odell Public Library in Morrison; and Wysox Township Public Library in Milledgeville.
