Music department shuffles in Unit 6

Published: Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012 1:15 a.m. CDT

MORRISON – Several current and former music teachers are helping to fill in vacancies at Morrison Unit 6 schools’ music department.

After Kristen Donnelly left in August for a different job, Cynthia Perrizo agreed to teach junior high choir, as well as elementary school music students.

Kathy Janicek, a Morrison resident with experience teaching high school and college music classes, accepted the high school choir and madrigal teaching post.

Carolyn Aiken of Morrison is teaching sixth-grade general music. The department will be restructured in May after Perrizo retires.
