October is National Adopt-a-Shelter Dog Month. Happy Tails in Rock Falls would be glad to take your application.
Just that wagging tail and some kisses to take your blues away when you come in that door is what makes a dog special. They need their special forever home. Happy Tails and the ASPCA have been joined by petfinder.com, and poster art by Vermont artist Stephen Huneck at www.huneck.com is now available.
Call 815-626-2994 or go to 1408 McNeil Road, Rock Falls. Call for the shelter’s open times, one evening a week on Thursdays, and volunteers are needed every morning, especially on Saturdays and Sundays.
