‘Efficiency, courtesy, professionalism’
I am a lifelong resident of Morrison, born in 1962. I graduated from Morrison High School in 1980. After graduation, I was briefly employed by Smith Bank in Morrison as a teller.
In April 1981, I was hired by then-Whiteside County Recorder Marvin J. VanZuiden as a deputy, eventually becoming chief deputy recorder.
In November 1996, I was elected to my first term as Whiteside County recorder and have continuously served Whiteside County since then as its recorder.
