New sculpture makes its Nash debut
Harvest Hunter’ depicts barn owl in flight
OREGON – A graceful barn owl sculpture has found a home in the Nash Recreation Center garden.
“Harvest Hunter,” by Wildwood, Mo., sculptor Matthew Donovan, the seventh of 10 Community Art’s Legacy sculptures to be installed in Oregon, is in the garden between the parking lot and the front door.
The sculpture, of a barn owl flying over the fields, was chosen at the annual Fields Project Art Fair in June 2010.
