ROCK FALLS – Kenneth L. Thomas, 91, of Rock Falls, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at Transitions Health and Rehabilitation Center in Rock Falls. He worked at Globe Machine in South Beloit for several years.

Kenneth was born Feb. 21, 1921, in Delmar, N.D. He was a veteran of the Army, serving during World War II. He married Betty Smith in 1939. She preceded him in death in 1964.

Survivors include two sons, Larry Thomas and Michael Thomas, both of Rock Falls; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A gathering of family and friends will be from 4 to 6 p.m., with full military honors at 6 p.m., Friday at McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory in Rock Falls. There will be no service.

A memorial has been established.
