Sacco-Miller plans events

DIXON – Lee County State’s Attorney candidate Anna Sacco-Miller will attend council meetings at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Harmon, at 7 p.m. Monday in Sublette and at 7 p.m. Oct. 10 in Paw Paw.
She will answer questions after each meeting.
She also plans a potluck meet-and-greet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 20 at The Meadows in Franklin Grove. All are welcome to join her for a meal and discussion, she said in a news release.
“For me, these events are opportunities to listen and to speak,” said Sacco-Miller. “I encourage all citizens to attend and let their voice be heard.”
Sacco-Miller, a Republican, faces Democratic incumbent Henry Dixon in the Nov. 6 general election.
