Rock Falls prepares to rezone riverfront
Goal is to allow mixed uses in the RB&W District
ROCK FALLS – City Council members Tuesday began the process of making the downtown Riverside Bike & Walk District a mixed-zoning district.
They agreed to refer a draft of the mixed-zoning proposal to the Planning and Zoning Commission for review.
Planning and Zoning will refer it to the city’s ordinance committee, which then will send it back to the council for review, said Sandy Henrekin, Rock Falls Community Development Corp. director.
