He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Mary Jane Foust.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., with the rosary recited at 4 p.m., Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., 1500 Sixth St., East Moline. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Christ the King Catholic Church, 3209 60th St., Moline. Interment, with military honors conducted by East Moline American Legion Post 227, will be at Rock Island National Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Newman Central Catholic High School or to the family.

The family would like to show their appreciation to the staff at Hope Creek, East Moline, for the thoughtfulness and care shown to Leo over the past 3 years.

Wise saw collapse in support

On pensions, Bivins and GOP far apart

Sen. Tim Bivins, R-Dixon, joined with many of his fellow Senate Republicans this week to reject a pension bill sponsored by Democratic Senate President John Cullerton of Chicago. The measure passed 40-16. Bivins had a different reason for his no vote.
