Immunizations available Sunday

MOUNT CARROLL – Staff from FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport will provide flu shot clinics for adults in Carroll County.

The clinics will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon Sunday at First Lutheran Church, 301 S. Clay St., and from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Carroll County Senior Center, 306 N. Main St. Free blood pressure screenings will be available at the Wednesday clinic.

The cost is $30 per shot, payable by cash or check to FHN. There will be no out-of-pocket expense to those covered by Medicare Part B or a Medicare HMO accepted by FHN. Medicare Part B patients must present their cards. Lists of acceptable HMOs will be at each site. Those covered must present the Medicare HMO card instead of the Medicare card for billing.
