Classes upcoming at forest preserve
BYRON – Upcoming Byron Forest Preserve District’s programs at Jarrett Prairie Center, 7993 N. River Road, include:
n Colman Camp Out, 6 p.m. Oct. 13, all ages. Tents and snacks provided or participants may bring their own; $25 per tent, $15 if a tent is brought. Register by Thursday.
n Gimme shelter homeschool class, 9 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, or Make Your Own, noon to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 12, $5 each, for ages 6-14. Register by Monday.
