ROCK FALLS – Bryce Keith Bode, 3 months, of Rock Falls, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at Rockford Memorial Hospital.

Bryce was born June 29, 2012, in Rockford, the son of Brian and Kendra (Promenschenkel) Bode.

Survivors include his parents, Brian and Kendra Bode of Rock Falls; two sisters, Zoey Bode and Lily Bode, both at home; two brothers, Jonas Atherton and Noah Atherton, both at home; maternal grandparents, Nancy (Larry) Cook of Prophetstown, Nick (Amy) Promenschenkel of Savanna and Joyce Cole of Tampico; and paternal grandparents, Vera Bode of Prophetstown, Raymond Bode of Minnesota, Dennis (Shelley) Douglas of Clinton, Iowa, Arlene Kallenbach of Prophetstown, Claudine Laxton of Litchfield, Ky., and Dennis Douglas Sr. of Clinton.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Denver Cole, Homer and Lily Promenschenkel and David Fink.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by the funeral at 7 p.m., Friday at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Morrison, with the Rev. Mark Winkelman, pastor, officiating. The graveside committal service and interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Riverside Cemetery in Prophetstown. Arrangements were handled by Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home in Morrison.

Memorials have been established to the Cornelia de Lange Syndrome Foundation and the Rockford Memorial Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
