William Douglass ‘Bill’ Loring

FRUITA, Colo. – William Douglass “Bill” Loring, 83, of Fruita, passed away Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction, Colo.

He was born Oct. 18, 1928, in Oklahoma City, to William Riley and Kathryn Douglass Loring.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Shaw of Grand Junction; his children, Mary (Jim) Perkins of Portland, Ore., Douglass Loring of Grand Junction, William (Adele) Loring of Ashby, Neb., Keith Loring of San Francisco and Jeanne (John) Mick of Fort Collins, Colo.; grandchildren, Kathryn and Elizabeth Perkins and Paul and Benjamin Mick; his sister, Patricia (William) Biggs of Warson Woods, Mo.; nieces, Kathryn and Alyson; nephews, James, Doug and Michael; and cousins, Nicholas and Michael Gubser.
