SUBLETTE – A free Lifeprint child safety program will be offered from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Vaessen Brothers Chevrolet, 505 N. Pennsylvania Ave.

Biometric palm prints, 10-digit fingerprints, and a full-color digital photograph will be taken of children. Parents will receive the only record of the information, with a child safety journal to give to law enforcement if a child goes missing. Firefighters also will have a smoke house for children to go through.

Go to www.vaessenbrothers.com or call Nick Vaessen at 815-849-5232 for more information.
