THOMSON – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mississippi River Project’s annual Trick-or-Treat in the Park will be Oct. 20.

Children can trick or trick at designated sites from 4 to 6 p.m. at Thomson Causeway Recreation Area at Lewis Avenue and Main Street. The program was started several years ago by campers looking to celebrate the Halloween season.

Children 12 and younger are to be accompanied by an adult. Trick-or-treaters should visit sites displaying trick-or-treat signs. Traffic will be restricted throughout the camping loops during the event.
