Bring canned food to game, help Lifeline

Text Size: AaAaAaAaAa

Polo High School’s Family Career Community Leaders of America thought it would be fun to help fill the shelves of the Lifeline Food Pantry. Because this is the season to start giving to others, FCCLA would like to ask for your help as we fill the Lifeline’s shelves.

This year at the Oct. 12 football game, each person who brings a canned food item to the concession stand will receive a free bag of popcorn. You help us fill the pantry and we will give you a bag of popcorn. It’s a win-win situation for everyone. Lifeline gets its shelves filled, and you get a nice hot bag of popcorn.

So come out to support the Polo Marcos football team and help fill up our pantry’s shelves. Thank you for support.

Good or bad? Depends on who you ask

Sometimes readers ask for more good news in the paper. They say we in the media only cover the bad. But one person's positive is another's negative.

My kind of game

I would have gladly paid to take in the game I covered Saturday morning in Morrison.
