Warriors remain perfect in NIB-12
Loos leads barrage on Leafs
STERLING – Too much height and too much firepower is what Sterling had against Geneseo on Tuesday night.
The Golden Warriors remained perfect as they finished their first lap through Northern Illinois Big 12 West play, improving to 17-1 overall and 5-0 in the league in a 25-18, 25-22 win over the Maple Leafs at Musgrove Fieldhouse.
Sterling boasts six players 5-foot-10 or taller – Geneseo (7-6, 3-2) just one. The Warriors took advantage, piling up 26 kills to the Leafs' 14.
