Pleased with help given by sheriff's police

For almost 2 years, I dealt with an individual trying to settle an issue over a criminal matter. I didn't want to get any sheriff or police involved. I do not like to cause trouble or get anyone into trouble; however, I decided I wasn't going to get any cooperation without getting some professional help.

I contacted the Whiteside County Sheriff's Department. They directed me to Sgt. Molina. He took the entire matter into his hands and handled everything properly, fairly and honestly. He tried at least two times to settle the matter without anyone getting into dire trouble.

He didn't favor either one of us, and he did everything by the law. He went above and beyond the call of duty and settled the entire issue without anyone having to be arrested.

The other day, we ran a story about the Dixon Tourism Board's website, which is hard to navigate and missing key information, particularly about the Petunia Festival. Are we wasting our time examining local tourism websites?
