Limited spots available for lunch

PROPHETSTOWN – The Prophetstown United Methodist Women will serve its annual fall luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 19 in the church’s fellowship hall, 200 W. Second St.

The menu consists of hot beef and chicken casseroles, salads, bread, desserts, coffee and tea.

An express lane will be offered for those with a limited lunch hour, and a carry-out lane will be available.

The 250 tickets for the meal are sold in advance only. Contact any circle member or Betty Dennis, ticket chairman, at 815-537-2906. Leave a name, phone number and the number of tickets needed. The tickets can be picked up at the door.

The cost is $7 for adults, $2.50 for children 3 to 10 and free for children younger than 3.
