Jimmie Jackley
ROCK FALLS – Jimmie Jackley, 78, of Rock Falls, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, at Transitions Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rock Falls.
Jimmie was born May 21, 1934, in Bagley, Wis., the son of Alfred and Evelyn (Bailey) Jackley. He worked at Northwestern Steel and Wire for more than 30 years. Jimmie was an avid gardener. He loved to go fishing, hunting and camping in Mission, Texas, and Buffalo, Wyo. Jimmie married Carol Ruth Bovey on July 6, 1954, in Dixon. His beloved wife died Feb. 18, 2012.
Survivors include three daughters, Pamela (Dave) Hutton of Callahan, Fla., Becky Blevins of Rock Falls and Sandra (John) Humphries of Tacoma, Wash.; one son, Michael “Gus” (Anne) Jackley of Dixon; one sister, Rita Conley of Rock Falls; one brother, Paul Jackley of Bagley; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
