DIXON – Grace L. Freeman, 92, of Dixon, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at Heritage Square in Dixon. She was a receptionist at Dixon Veterinary Hospital for 25 years, retiring in 1972.

Grace was born Jan. 24, 1920, in Marion Township, Lee County, the daughter of Robert E. and Helen F. (Cramer) Levan. She married Loren Freeman on July 3, 1962, in Dixon. He preceded her in death in 1981.

Survivors include one sister, Mary Ellen Hamburg of Harmon; one niece; one nephew; two great-nieces; two great-nephews; two great-great-nieces; two great-great-nephews; one stepdaughter, Judy Ann (Stanley) Trampe of Lincoln, Neb.; and several stepgrandchildren.
