Dateline Dixon: Should prayer be on park board agenda?
DIXON – The Dixon Park Board should consider adding an invocation at the beginning of its meetings, one of its members said at the last meeting.
The member, Shane Miller, read my last column and was, apparently, inspired. Another member, John Weitzel, said he thought it was a good idea.
The idea and the discussion didn’t go any further than that, but in a conversation Tuesday afternoon, Miller said it’s something he’s “seriously considering.”
