Women launch effort to beautify Twin Cities
Community invited to help decorate downtown windows in Sterling, Rock Falls
STERLING – Friends Catherine Rogers and Penny Schopp saw a widening gap they thought needed to be closed.
So the two teamed up on a project they hope will span Sterling and Rock Falls, creating partnerships and beauty along the way.
Rogers, of Sterling, and Schopp, of Rock Falls, created the Bridge of Art, in which the two will make artistic storefront window displays throughout both downtowns, using recycled materials as much as possible.
