STERLING – Dan Pultorak surprised his coach. He even surprised himself.
The Dixon High School senior shot an 81 and then won a three-player playoff with par of the first hole to claim the individual title at the 17-team Sterling Invitational on Saturday at a cold and windy Emerald Hill Golf Course.
