Runner makes a stop to inspire students at his alma mater
ROCK FALLS – Rock Falls High School alum Mike Ehredt took a break from his cross country run honoring veterans Thursday to tell students at his alma mater not to give up their dreams.
Ehredt was born with severe club foot in both legs, had difficulty walking and was ridiculed by other students, he said.
He was 5 when he had an operation to straighten out his legs.
