Man threatens to jump from grain bin
SHANNON – Police Thursday morning talked down an unidentified 21-year-old Shannon man who threatened to jump from a 100-foot-tall grain bin.
The man was intoxicated and threatened to jump when they arrived about 1:23 a.m., Shannon police said in a news release.
He came down about 2 hours later and was taken to a hospital for evaluation, the release said.
