Back does dirty work for Rockets
Nothing runs like a LeBarron
Only two Sauk Valley area players have more carries than Rock Falls' Brendon LeBarron this season.
LeBarron, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound junior, has lugged the ball 75 times through the Rockets' first four games. He's gone for 270 yards. He's averaging almost 19 carries and just under 68 yards per game.
"He's our workhorse. He gets the tough yards," Rock Falls coach Jay Mammosser said. "Brendon's getting the yards between the tackles. He's got speed and he's powerful. He's tough to bring down."
