Warriors’ offensive weapons too much for Dukes
STERLING – Brandon Jagitsch was the busiest man at Roscoe Eades Stadium on Tuesday night.
The Dixon goalkeeper was lucky to not come away with whiplash after faceing a barrage of soccer balls from every direction, as Sterling outshot the Dukes 23-2 and got goals from five different players in a 6-1 romp in a Northern Illinois Big 12 West match.
"It was a lot of make a save, kick it out and get ready for it to come right back," said Jagitsch, who had 17 saves. "It was kind of nerve-racking."
