Trickle down hasn’t worked and won’t work
When I was a young man, my father suggested something about politicians. The majority of the Republican candidates for national office seem to be of the rich and voted for the rich.
He told me he voted for only one Republican for president. That president was Dwight D. Eisenhower. Eisenhower’s interstate highway system created thousands of jobs across the nation. Today’s Republicans would vote against this job-producing government spending program.
Eisenhower also said to beware of the military-industrial complex. I believe that the military-industrial complex was the reason for two wars: the war in Vietnam and the Iraq war.
