Rock Falls finances new fire truck
ROCK FALLS – The City Council agreed Tuesday to issue general obligation debt certificates to pay for a tender/tanker for the Rock Falls Fire Department.
The city already agreed to pay $55,000 over 5 years for the truck. The Foreign Fire Board and Firefighters Foundation is making the $22,000 down payment, and will pay $7,000 a year, also for 5 years.
