Lee County prosecutor gets to add employees
State’s attorney cites increased caseload
DIXON – Lee County State’s Attorney Henry Dixon got what he wanted Tuesday – another prosecutor and clerical employee.
The County Board voted unanimously to approve Dixon’s request, which officials said would cost nearly $100,000 a year, including benefits.
It comes with a catch: The funding will last only 2 years.
