Former alderman rejoins Morrison council
Connelly 'smart, does his homework'
MORRISON – Morrison’s newest alderman is a familiar face.
At a special meeting Monday, the City Council unanimously approved Mayor Roger Drey’s appointment of former Alderman Scott Connelly for the vacant Ward 4 position.
In 2011, Connelly, an instructor at the Morrison Institute of Technology, was one of four members who decided against running for re-election. He served at least 4 years on the eight-member council, according to City Hall.
