Tri-County Opportunities Council wants ‘equal shot’
Agency that helps seniors looks to get more money
DIXON – A program that helps the elderly in their homes wants more money from Lee County.
Last month, a county committee had $7,000 extra to give for senior programs. Most of that money went to the Lee County Council on Aging, which runs the Dixon senior center.
But the Rock Falls-based Tri-County Opportunities Council’s homemaker program says it should receive more of that newfound money.
