I was dismayed when I was informed by my parents that the Sauk Valley community believes the Chicago Public Schools strike is ridiculous and the teachers are considered greedy by the community.

I am a proud graduate of the Chadwick/Milledgeville Schools. I had many opportunities during my education there. I was involved in many activities and had access to even more.

We regularly used computers and went on long and short field trips. My teachers taught me well, so they, in part, helped me to become a teacher myself.
