DIXON – Helen Lydia Minnier, 90, of Dixon, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at Dixon Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was a clerk for F.W. Woolworth Co. in Dixon and Sterling before retiring.

Helen was born Aug. 17, 1922, in Sublette, the daughter of Sylvester Mason and Lucy Anna (Benz) Barton. She married John H. Minnier. He preceded her in death in September 1963. She was a member of Bethel Evangelical Congregational Church in Dixon.

Survivors include two sons, Richard (Nancy) Minnier of Dothan, Ala., and John Minnier of Rock Falls; and one brother, Ralph Barton, and one sister, Betty Falk, both of Dixon.
