Chambers have various roles in the community
Do you know what dankie, xie xie, sukria, do jeh and istutiy mean? They are all ways to say thank you. I want to focus on thank you this month.
The Sauk Valley Area Chamber of Commerce tries hard to thank our members, volunteers and other supporters throughout the year because support allows us to provide valuable programs, seminars, networking events and more to local businesses.
Chambers have various roles. Locally we protect and promote the existing area businesses.
As a chamber member, is there something you wish we were doing?
Do you have suggestions on how we can provide you with more service or for a program?
If so, call 815-625-2400 or email suggestions to email@example.com. We love to hear member suggestions.
I would like to challenge all of our members, and anyone who reads this, to visit our website www.saukvalleyareachamber.com and view the current list of members.
How many do you do business with professionally or personally? Can you increase that number by one, two or more?
Do you know anyone that could benefit from membership in the SVACC?
Ask them to call us and learn how the chamber can help their business.
I would like to remind you the chamber offers a Partner 2 Partner program which offers deals from chamber members for chamber members.
These deals are valid for all employees of chamber member businesses.
Not sure if your business is a member?
Visit our membership list on our website and see.
If you are and haven’t attended any of our events check the list of upcoming activities. Come do a little networking and have some fun while celebrating local business.
On behalf of your office staff, board of directors and ambassadors, I would like to thank all of our members for making us 100 years strong.
Your support is invaluable.
