Police visit suspected drug houses during ‘knock and talk’ detail
STERLING – Sterling Police made several house calls Tuesday as part of the department’s ongoing “knock and talk program” to crack down on suspected drug houses in the city.
In all, police visited nine homes. Residents at two of the locations consented to a voluntary search, police said Tuesday in a news release.
At one of those locations, police found a marijuana plant growing in the front yard. The plant later was destroyed.
