School to kids: Eat better, move more
Program, teachers work to promote healthy lifestyle
STERLING – Lincoln Elementary School is trying to make physical activity and healthy eating CATCH on.
The school kicked off its Coordinated Approach to Child Health program Wednesday by discussing healthy foods and having students prepare fruit smoothies and vegetable kabobs.
The program aims to get children active for at least 60 minutes a day and to eat healthy foods.
