Rehmert rocks for Sterling

Tichler goes low for Rockets; Stickel paces RF girls

Zach Rehmert earned medalist honors by shooting a 1-over par 37 at Emerald Hill on Monday, leading Sterling to a 165-189 win over Rochelle. 

Andrew Blackburn shot a 40, Kyle Sinn a 43, and Ryan Hurley and  Trevor Sisson each had 45s. 

Rock Falls 162, North Boone 206: Andrew Tichler's 1-under-par 34 led the Rockets past the Vikings at Beaver Creek Golf Course in Capron.

Also for the Rockets, Trace Hippen had 41, Matt Long had 43 and Cooper Kilberg added 44.

Richmond-Burton 164, Oregon 176: Lane Hawkins carded a 39 to lead the Hawks in a loss to the Rockets at Nippersink Golf Course in Richmond.

Richmond-Burton's Jordan Hahn was the medalist with a 38.

Girls golf

Rock Falls 210, Sandwich 221, Hinckley Big-Rock 226: Jessica Stickel shot a 43 to earn medalist honors and lead the Rockets to a win at Indian Oaks in Hinckley. 

Jordyn Vickers added 50 and Brittany Bolkens had a 55 for Rock Falls. 

Prophetstown 184, Rockridge 185, Rock Island 205: The Prophets had four solid scores to pull off a one-stroke win over Rockridge at Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island. 

Molly Corbin and Annie Sandrock each shot 44 for the Prophets. Ella Kramer added a 46 and Stephanie Emery had a 50 as Prophetstown improved to 12-0 on the season. 

Sydney Kilcoin was medalist with a 36. 

Erie 218, Princeton 225: Skylar Neely Houzenga shot a 45 for medalist honors at Lake Erie as the Cardinals beat the Tigers. 

Morgan Newton added a 47, and Linsdey Tempelmann and Kayla Waggoner each had 58.
