DIXON – Albert Lopez, 53, of Dixon, died suddenly Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at Morrison Community Hospital. He was employed as postmaster at the Morrison post office.

Albert was born April 4, 1959, in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, the son of Martin and Maria Lopez. He married Rhonda Ledford on Aug. 13, 1983, in Elmhurst.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda of Dixon; his foster mother, Irene Sieverson of Elmhurst; one daughter, Alyssa (Gene) Anderson of Springfield; two sons, Andrew Lopez of Dixon and Adam (Duranne Frank) Lopez of Glen Ellyn; four sisters, Blanca, Beatrice, Maria and Aida; one brother, Rick; many, many foster brothers and sisters; and three grandchildren, Autumn, Austin and Avin Anderson.
