2012 candidate to tour VA clinic
Smiddy will be available to answer questions on veterans issues
STERLING – A statehouse hopeful will tour the Sterling Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic on Thursday then field questions on veterans issues.
Mike Smiddy, the Democratic candidate in the 71st House District race, will be available to answer questions from 3:15 to 3:45 p.m. Thursday at American Legion Post No. 296, 601 First Ave.
He plans to address employment opportunities for veterans and physical and mental health care, according to a news release.
