Blackburn takes East title
Sterling senior tops in Rockford; Mustangs win in Kewanee
Sterling’s Andrew Blackburn shot a 70 Saturday to win medalist honors by five strokes at Rockford East’s Brad Fowler Invitational.
Blackburn helped Sterling to a second-place tie with Alleman in the 10-team Class A field. Aquin won the team title with a score of 325. Sterling and Alleman had totals of 335.
Dixon took ninth at 389. Dixon’s Ryan Dixon was 12th with an 84.
