Outfoxed: Dukes make mistakes on road
YORKVILLE – Yorkville likely didn’t need any help to handle Dixon on Friday night, but the Dukes obliged anyway.
Four Dixon turnovers aided an already potent Foxes attack, and the result was a 42-14 Yorkville win in a Northern Illinois Big 12 crossover game.
“Lack of execution, that’s what it was,” Dixon coach Dave Smith said. “Yorkville’s not bad – give them credit, but we made a lot of mistakes tonight.”
