The Amboy Clippers outslugged the Fulton Steamers on Friday night with a 42-30 win in Amboy.
The two teams combined for 66 points in the first half, which included two touchdowns in the first 32 seconds of the game.
Spencer Johnson led the way for Amboy with 233 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries. Johnson’s last TD put Amboy up 12 points with
2 minutes, 38 seconds left in the fourth quarter.
