The annual Twin Cities Crop Hunger Walk is coming up on Oct. 21. This event benefits the hungry not only in our community, but all over the world.

Twenty-five percent of the money donated will go to our local food bank. This year, First Christian Church in Rock Falls will be the hosting church. So far, in the month of August, the church’s food pantry has served 142 families, involving 454 individuals – and this is the smallest food pantry in the Twin Cities.

Because of this increasing need in our community, we are in need of many participants. All groups, organizations and individuals are welcome to walk with us – no church affiliation necessary.
